Drew Federau

I’m a lifetime Hoosier and I moved to the Indianapolis area in 1997. It’s been my pleasure to work with State Farm Agents for 30+ years. Serving our customers in their property and casualty, life and health insurance needs is something I truly enjoy. I am also a notary public. Since moving to Indianapolis, I have served as an office manager in two State Farm agencies, and am proud to be part of a “like a good neighbor, State Farm is there” team. I have been blessed to build many wonderful relationships with customers. Outside the office, I love teaching and mentoring ESL students, and learning about their cultures. My family is my greatest treasure and my favorite places are on our country’s beautiful waterfronts!

I was born and raised near Anderson, Indiana. I graduated from Shenandoah High School and continued my education at Ball State University, where I studied Advertising and Fashion Merchandising. I joined Drew’s team towards the end of 2021 after obtaining my license in both Property & Casualty and Life & Health. The Carmel community is a whole new experience for me, but I can’t wait to make connections and discover all the local favorites. My boyfriend and I recently bought our first house in Anderson, and we have two Goldendoodles so we spend most of our free time with them. I couldn’t be happier to be your newest good neighbor!

I am an Indiana native through and through. I grew up in Terre Haute and moved to the Northside of Indianapolis after graduating college in 2010. I worked for a logistics company for almost 11 years before making the leap to insurance in 2022. I hold licenses in Auto, Home, Life, and Health insurance but you won’t see me behind the computer too much. As Marketing Manager, I focus on being engaged within the community on marketing and business development for the Drew Federau Agency. Outside of  my work, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Eric, and our daughter Nora Jane. My husband and I are big music lovers so if we aren’t playing with Nora you will probably catch us at a concert.

I was born and raised in Hendricks County where I graduated from Danville Community Schools. Upon graduating high school, I attended and graduated from Ball State University of where I attained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration. When I am not working, I enjoy traveling with my fiancé and two dogs and spending time outdoors with my family and friends. I have over 6 years’ experience in a variety of industries serving a customer based environment. In the past, I have worked mainly in the banking and finance industries and it wasn’t until recently that I decided I wanted to make a change and work in an industry where I would feel good about what I was doing and make a positive impact in my customers and their family’s lives. I joined Drew’s team in June of 22’ and am licensed in Property and Casualty as well as Life and Health. I am looking forward to the connections and lifelong relationships I will create out of this opportunity as well as the knowledge I will gain from working in the industry itself!
